About portal "Ancestral heritage"

This portal of scientific-educational information fund on Cultural heritage of the Turkic world Writings “Atalar Mirasi (Ancestral heritage)”, developed by the Turkic Academy, provides a wide range of literary samples and their original transcripts belonging to the writing cultures of Turkic-speaking states, peoples, ethnicities and ethnic groups, from ancient times to the national era. In addition, there are photographs, drawings, and some facsimiles of each manuscript and monument.

Tile graves of the Bronze Age (III millennium BC)

Grave graves of rectangular shape, surrounded by flat stone flanks, called "rectangular grave" ("tile grave"), are located in the territories from eastern Mongolia to the Altai mountain ranges, from Baikal to the Gobi. Most often they are found in 3-50 pieces in one place (size 2x4m, 5x10 m).

Deer stones of Mongolia

Deer stones date back to the Bronze and Iron Ages and are one of the unique monuments of ancient nomads. They differed in that they depicted deer on high pillars. For this reason it is called “deerstones”.
